The Limited Edition Print Smile V by the artist Doug Hyde

This print is one of the Smile series by the popular contemporary artist Doug Hyde. This series features artwork that is a lot smaller than his usual works. The Smile prints are approximately 6 inches long by 4 inches tall, i.e. postcard sized.

Only 200 prints were made of each Smile, so they are now quite difficult to obtain. Many were given away by art galleries as part of a promotion, although a number were specially framed and sold like his other artworks. The prints in the series are identical except for the different colour jumpers the character is wearing. Some of the prints feature blocks of single colour, in others the character is wearing a stripey jumper. Smile V features a bright red jumper (see photgraph below).
