New York Travel Log: Around Times Square and Grand Central Station
Grand Central Station
Grand Central Station was one of my favourite buildings in New York City. The gold and
marble interior was a wonderous sight:
Visiting Grand Central Terminal was the closest I've been to walking
around in the 1930's. In the basement was a huge hall full of food vendors. The choice on
offer was overwhelming, but I rarely made it past the branch of Two Boot's Pizza!
Grand Central isn't all glamourous shops, restaurants and shoe shine
stalls though - tucked away in the basement there are actually trains running from the
station as well:
