What technologies?

I specialise in the design and development of Internet and Intranet applications on Windows 2000 and Windows NT. The main tools and technologies I use are: Visual Studio.NET (C#), Visual InterDev, FrontPage, HTML, Active Server Pages (VBScript and JScript), JavaScript, Visual Basic 6 Component Object Model (COM), SQL Server 7.0 and 2000, ADO, Access 97, Transact SQL, Index Server, Site Server Search, Visual Source Safe, PHP with mySQL and PostgreSQL databases. Use of third party server components such as ASPMail, ActiveFile and ASPImage.

Since 2002 I have been selling a range of software code documentor utilities that are used by software developers to automatically document their application source code. These applications are in use by 100's of companies, government agencies and educational establishments worldwide.

As well as web development I have experience in using design tools such as PhotoShop and 3D packages such as Bryce, I have written many articles on technical subjects, and I am a fully trained molecular biologist :-)

I've worked on Intranet sites (which aren't accessible to the public) for organisations such as Manpower Sweden, GKN and Marconi. Aside from brettb.com, a few sites I have worked on that are publically accessible are:
